“The Color of Reality”

Transfixed by racial, political, and socioeconomic tensions saturating the news, movement artists Jon Boogz and Lil Buck, enveloped by the art of Alexa Meade, switch off the TV and release their emotion into a stirring dance that is both a lament and a spirited call to action.

PRE is a short film that follows users of the drug PREVuTANOL. It is a drug that stimulates the autobiographical memory recollection of patients with degenerative brain disorders like dementia and Alzheimer's. Patients use a PRE mask to breathe in a vaporized form of the PREVuTANOL through the nose and mouth.

Shortly after the drug’s release, an underground community emerged. These users, known as viewers, would mod the masks and manipulate the dosages to induce out-of-body, prolonged viewing times, and other modifications. This increase in dosage would often lead to long term effects and degradation of memories.

Thistles and ThorNs

Thistles and Thorns is a multi-modal storytelling experience that follows the symbolic trials and tribulations of Assata. In order to find her way, she must venture through foreign landscapes, meeting a series of characters, both malicious and benevolent.
